Park’s From Earth to Earth - I (1979) was selected by independent curator and researcher Min-Hye Ahn as one of her five picks from Frieze Viewing Room. The work, presented by PNC Gallery, offers a striking encounter with Park’s early practice. Ahn reflects on the painting’s surface, spatial tension, and peculiar stillness, noting the surprising sense of contemporaneity in a work created nearly half a century ago.
